That’s right all is back to normal at Take to the Road HQ. The house move is all done and while there is still a small mountain of boxes to sift through, the bulk of the chaos that comes naturally during a house move, is gone. Phew! Now that the move is out of the way and now that I have internet access again, I can get back to working on Take to the Road and my YouTube Channel. So yesterday I released my Take to the Road News Update for July. In this episode I bring together my three cars for the very first time. It was a very exciting moment!
So after what seemed like an eternity (over 9 months is an eternity when you are a car nut) my Alfa Romeo Spider S3, my Bertone x1/9 Gran Finale and my Volkswagen Golf GTi Mk3 were united at last. That’s right… one German and two Italians! It is a bit of a diverse collection alright. It sure has been a long long wait but I finally have my garage and suitable work space to work on my cars. Plus a decent driveway to do detailing and all the other maintenance stuff that comes with owning a car. This is exactly what I need for my Take to the Road’s Garage Series and it will work as the perfect HQ for everything Take to the Road.
So in my latest Take to the Road News Update for July I talk about my cars and give an update on each one, briefly describing the jobs that each car needs over the coming months. No surprises really… I have a lot of work ahead of me! But now that I have my garage and workspace I will now be able to make regular updates and video releases for my Garage series. It will allow me to document all the work I do on the cars and you can follow that journey. I can’t wait to get cracking!
