Our Italian friends The Demented Monkeys recently put us in touch with Italian automotive photographer Alex Bellux of Bellux Production. Alex was at the official FIA WTCC testing and Formula 3 racing weekend at the WTCC Vallelunga 2016 event. Alex he has kindly let us share some of his best photos. And it looks like it was a great weekend of pure racing action!
For those who aren’t in the know the ACI Vallelunda Circuit is just 20 miles north of Rome. The track is 2.5 miles long and has 15 turns. It first opened as a sand oval track in 1959. The track was named after famous Italian racing driver Piero Taruffi.
We hope you enjoy his shots of the action from WTCC Vallelunga 2016 as much as we did. There are some excellent ones in the collection.
You can check out Alex’s work on the following social media channels:

We also featured photos from Italy’s premier motorsport circuit last year (check out our article and photos from the Vallelunga Classic 2015 taken by The Demented Monkeys). We would love to go there and shoot some racing action and maybe even take part in an open track day. That would be awesome!
