Luxury automotive retailer, Stratstone, will be returning to Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb for Classic Nostalgia; the ultimate vintage car festival on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June.
This two-day car festival is the highlight of the Shelsley Walsh calendar and features classic and retro racing up the famous Shelsley Walsh hill, along with a wide selection of classic cars on display, fantastic entertainment and fine food.
Held annually since 2010 by the Midland Automobile Club, Classic Nostalgia celebrates a particular motorsport theme each year.
The theme selected for 2019 is ‘The Italian Job’ celebrating 50 years since the release of the hit film starring Michael Caine. A number of cars seen in the movie will be on display at the event including:
• The original Jaguar E-type used in the film
• Replicas of the Bedford Val six-wheel coach
• MINI Coopers (red, white and blue of course)
• The Italian Alfa Romeo police car
This year is set to be the first time Stratstone has opened up hospitality to the general public and will be offering guests exclusive access to the Stratstone enclosure, start line views from grandstand seating, complimentary breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and a complimentary bar throughout the day.
Tickets for the weekend cost £179 per person (under 16’s go free) or £109 for Saturday / £119 for Sunday.
